Responsibilities
Lead daily operations to ensure secure and efficient service delivery
Supervise and support staff to achieve operational goals
Monitor performance and maintain strong customer relationships
Coordinate and schedule daily collection runs and operational activities
Consult with line management in the development and management of operational targets
Ensure compliance with NHVR regulations and company policies
Lead, coach and develop a high‐performing operations team
Oversee vehicle pre‐starts, post‐run inspections and day‐to‐day maintenance requirements
Lead high level of customer service within the collection teams, investigate and resolve service issues
Prepare and analyse reports relating to labour utilisation, operational performance and cost management
Manage and prepare detailed reports on labour efficiencies and overall cost management
Manage employee performance, including investigations and performance improvement processes
Qualifications
Experience in logistics, operations, or waste management (preferred but not essential)
Proven leadership and people management skills
Strong understanding of safety and compliance requirements
Excellent communication and problem‐solving abilities
The ability to work effectively in a fast‐paced environment
A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement and customer service
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
