Position: Inclusive Education Teacher (Secondary)Full‐time continuing position commencing as soon as possible or as negotiated with the successful applicant.Start date: As soon as possibleSalary: $86,600 – $126,795 (pending experience)OverviewChanel College, Gladstone invites applications from qualified and enthusiastic educators to join staff in the position of Inclusive Education Teacher.
The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong commitment to inclusive education and enable equitable access, participation and achievement for diverse learners in the secondary curriculum through expert support, collaboration and high‐impact teaching.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide expert advice on differentiation, adjustments and Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
Develop, implement and review Individual Learning Plans (ILP) and Personalised Learning Plans (PLP).
Assist in identifying students requiring support using data analysis, consultation and observation.Coordinate or contribute to case management processes with parents, teachers and external agencies and ensure timely and accurate NCCD documentation.Build staff capacity through coaching and collaborate with leaders to embed inclusive curriculum and accessible assessment design.QualificationsRelevant tertiary qualification.Appropriate qualities,



knowledge and skills to provide a relevant and holistic education.Eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.A desire to serve the communities located within the diocese of Rockhampton.Mandatory RequirementsRelevant tertiary qualifications and the ability to obtain approved Queensland College of Teachers registration.Australian work rights.IncentivesMarket‐competitive salary structure for teaching staff ($86,600 – $126,795).
