Join a leading education provider as our Automotive Learning (pathways) Facilitator and make a meaningful difference in the lives of learners. This role is suited for an individual with an automotive background (preferably) and recent hands-on experience, who is passionate about supporting disadvantaged or disengaged learners into education, employment, and apprenticeships. Working closely with a key automotive industry partner, you'll deliver engaging, learner-centred programs that build confidence, skills, and real pathways into the workforce.

This is a casual opportunity. The role offers a salary of $66.04 per hour plus 12% superannuation.

About the role

This facilitated 10-day program will have multiple intakes which will run primarily out of Box Hill campus and city locations.

This is a highly rewarding opportunity to combine your industry expertise with teaching and mentoring to create real impact.

What you'll do:

- Deliver an engaging, inclusive,



practical program with a learner-centred focus
- Develop and adapt teaching materials to suit a wide range of learning styles and needs
- Collaborate closely with a leading automotive industry group to align programs with workforce needs
- Facilitate pathways into apprenticeships, employment, or further training
- Build strong relationships with employers, industry partners, and community stakeholders
- Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support success
- Contribute to program quality, compliance, and continuous improvement activities
- Support disadvantaged, disengaged or at-risk learners through tailored guidance and pastoral care

About You:

You are an experienced automotive professional who is passionate about helping others succeed. You bring a flexible, empathetic, and learner-centred approach, along with strong industry connections and a commitment to supporting diverse learners.

To be successful, you will have:

- Recent, hands-on experience in the automotive industry (preferable)
- Experience working with youth, pre-apprenticeship pathways, or employment readiness programs (desirable)
- Strong industry networks and the ability to connect learners with real job opportunities
- Ability to bring your experience into the classroom and deliver engaging training
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport across diverse groups
- A flexible and adaptive approach to teaching and learning
- Alignment with a child-protected, inclusive and values-based workplace
- Have, or be willing to obtain, Victorian Working with Children Check and National Police Check clearance.
- Experience working with disadvantaged or disengaged learners preferred

Qualifications:

- Qualifications or experience in adult education, community development or a related field desirable.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent) advantageous, not compulsory.
