The Role Of An Assistant Venue Manager

Reporting directly to the Venue Manager, you’ll be a key leader in the day-to-day running of the venue.

Key Responsibilities Include

- Leading food & beverage service in a high-volume restaurant & Bar in Southbank
- Supporting and overseeing operations, compliance, and customer experience
- Being present on the floor — coaching teams,



supporting, and engaging with guests
- Opening and closing the venue, cash handling, and shift accountability
- Working a rotating roster including nights and weekends

- Proven experience in food & beverage-led venues
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage busy teams
- Excellent attention to detail and operational awareness
- A passion for service, presentation, and guest experience
- A proactive, calm and approachable manner
