About the role

BaptistCare Griffith Centre is seeking a Catering/Servery Assistant on a permanent part‑time basis to present and deliver high quality nutritious meals to our residents. You will enjoy working in a large team committed to making a difference in the lives of residents. This role works 48 hours a fortnight.

Duties may include

- Assistance in basic meal preparation and serving
- Making tea and coffee
- Assisting Chefs with food prep when required
- Working to achieve and maintain a high standard of cleanliness
- Checking and recording temperature of food
- Following all Food Safety Guidelines and HACCP program
- Assisting with deliveries of stock and stock rotation

About you

- Previous kitchen/servery experience in a similar role
- Understanding of work health and safety practices
- Ability to work unsupervised and take on physically demanding tasks
- Previous experience in aged care (desirable)
- Willingness to work as part of a busy, friendly team
- Strong focus,



positive attitude and well organised
- Excellent communication skills
