- We are seeking to establish a pool of cleaners for permanent and fixed term, and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Beenyup Primary is an Independent Public School in Byford, Western Australia, which caters for children from Kindergarten to Year Six. **The Role**
The Cleaner, under the general supervision of the Cleaner in Charge/Senior Cleaner in Charge, is responsible for a range of internal and external cleaning duties. This includes maintaining carpets and hard floor surfaces, cleaning toilets, furniture, fittings, and windows, as well as handling tasks like dusting and rubbish removal. Vacation cleaning duties involve activities such as stripping and sealing vinyl floors, shampooing carpets,
and pressure cleaning verandas.
The Cleaner is also responsible for reporting faults, maintenance issues, and incidents to the designated supervisor while ensuring that schools are cleaned and maintained in compliance with Department and occupational safety standards.

**Eligibility**
To work with us, you will need to:
- obtain a valid Working With Children Check.
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
