JOB DESCRIPTION

The purpose of a Retail Manager at Caltex Reservoir fuel station is to oversee daily store operations, ensuring optimal customer service and product availability. They develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue and enhance brand loyalty. The manager also monitors inventory levels and maintains compliance with company policies. Additionally, they lead and train staff to create a motivated team focused on achieving business goals.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.

· Experience: 3 years of experience in retail management or a similar role.

· Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to analyze sales data and market trends.

· Knowledge: Familiarity with inventory management systems and point-of-sale (POS) software.

· Certifications: Relevant certifications in retail management or customer service are a plus.

· Personal Attributes: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies and setting prices
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve concerns with professionalism and care.
- Determining product mix, stock levels and service standards
- Selling goods and services to customers and advising them on product use
- Undertaking budgeting for the establishment
- Controlling selection,



training, and supervision of staff
- Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
- Promoting and advertising the establishment's goods and services
- Monitoring and analysing sales performance to identify opportunities for improvement and growth
- Managing customer feedback and implementing service improvements to enhance customer satisfaction
- Coordinating with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and inventory availability
- Developing and implementing staff rosters to ensure optimal coverage and efficient workflow
