Our client is are looking for Sidekicks to join their existing teams of Freight Handlers at their Darra location. Please note this work will be manual labour intensive.
We are building a talent pool as we will be getting busier in the coming weeks and there will shifts available. Please note that this is fill their adhoc needs.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Sorting & Scanning: Reading labels and scanning parcels, cartons, and satchels into the correct bays.
- Freight Handling: Moving stock from conveyors to cages/crates, palletising, and shrink-wrapping.
- Heavy Lifting: Repetitive manual handling of bulky items up to 20kg.
- Teamwork & Safety: Maintaining a clean, protected warehouse environment.
What You Need:
- Safety Gear: Steel-cap boots and a high-vis vest.
- Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia and willingness to undergo a criminal history check.
- Reliable Transport: Must be able to reliably get to Darra for 4:00 AM/ 5.30AM starts.
- Physical Fitness: Capability to handle heavy lifting (up to 20kg).
About You:
- Strong attention to detail (spotting correct labels quickly).
- A positive, "can-do" attitude and willingness to learn.
- A reliable team player.
- Will Pass a Drug and Alcohol Screening
- Happy to organise a National Police Check
