About the Opportunity

We have an opening for a Machine Operator – Metal Polisher to join our ever-growing team!

This a 38 hour a week full-time role, Monday to Friday at our Factory in Dandenong South, Victoria.

About you:

- Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical trade or equivalent.

- Minimum 3 years of experience operating manual lathes in a related field.

- Demonstrated safety-first mindset.

- Experience using hand-polishing tools would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Your tasks will include:

- Operating manual machine lathes, lathe-mounted linishers, along with various hand polishers, tools, and equipment to correct and prepare surfaces for hard chrome plating or to meet finish specifications.

- Polishing components to the specified requirements.

- Interpreting engineering drawings and achieving tight tolerances.

- Perform work safely and comply with OHS procedures.
