As an Educator you will be a team player, collaborating with the Senior Educators and Educational Leader within your centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children. You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children.

**About Goodstart Middle Park**:
Goodstart Early Learning Middle Park is located in the western suburbs of Brisbane in a residential area; close to shops, schools and public transport.
Our centre provides care for children from Nursery (6 weeks of age) to Kindergarten (5 years of age). We have a fully funded Kindergarten program with three ECT’s employed at the centre. Our Kindergarten program aligns with the Queensland Kindergarten Guidelines and our Kindergarten Educators work closely with local schools to ensure the transition to prep is positive and supportive.
All educators value early childhood education as the foundation for lifelong learning,



and believe in providing the children with skills and attitudes that will be a positive basis for their lifetime. Early childhood needs to be valued and enjoyed and through carefully planned environments and play based experiences, we are able to embrace all children for the unique individuals they are and foster opportunities for all areas of learning
- physical, intellectual, language, emotional and social.
Our environments are carefully planned to ensure that they meet the needs of all children and provide safe, open and stimulating spaces for the children to engage and explore.
We have recently introduced Key Educator Relationships; this allows the educators to develop, support and foster meaningful and trusted relationships with both the children and their families.
The natural environment is truly valued at our centre and is a focus in both our indoor and outdoor spaces. The plants and gardens make our environments welcoming, calm and homely and offers stimulus for many great learning opportunities. Our outside play area includes a cubby house, climbing frames, sandpit, gardens, vege patch, native bees, our turtle Frankie and undercover spaces.

**You’ll need**:
Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)

Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

Current Queensland Working with Children Check
