About the Role

We are looking for two proactive, values-driven Café Workers to join our team. This hands-on role involves supporting the day-to-day operations of our café, delivering excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming space that reflects our mission and values.

This is a casual position based in Panania, NSW. Salary conditions align with the Restaurant Industry Award 2010, Level 3.

Key Responsibilities- Deliver outstanding customer service and handle conflict or complaints with professionalism.- Assist with café opening and closing procedures.- Step into a leadership role when the Café Lead is unavailable.- Stay up to date with team communication and attend team meetings as required.- Offer prayer to customers when requested.- Support and help oversee a team of volunteers.- Operate in _The Village_ coffee van as needed.- Provide regular reports to the leadership team.- Ensure a consistently high-quality customer experience.- Comply with Work Health and Safety policies and practices.- Help foster a sense of community and encourage meaningful connections among customers and visitors.

What You Bring- A passion for community engagement and service.- Strong interpersonal and networking skills.- A good sense of business operations and sound judgement.- Effective time management and task prioritisation.- Confidence in delegating responsibilities when necessary.- A collaborative mindset, flexibility, and a positive, can-do attitude.- A valid NSW Working with Children Check.
