Are You the Next Teacher to Create a Revolution?
★ Launching July 2026 — Mickleham North Community Centre ★
Scholarly Hub is launching at the Mickleham North Community Centre in semester 2.
Our inaugural Holiday Empowerment Program will commence during the Term 2 school holidays, followed by the official launch of our regular educational programs from Term 3.
This is a unique opportunity to join as founding teachers at the beginning of an exciting growth journey and help shape the culture, impact and educational experience from the ground up. Founding teachers will play an important role in establishing the standards, mentorship culture, and student-centred learning environment that will define Scholarly Hub for years to come creating your legacy.
At Scholarly Hub, our in office sessions are intentionally concentrated — meaning you deliver a few hours of high-impact, face-to-face teaching per day, while earning a full salaried wage.
No more six-hour days, endless marking of survival-mode classroom management. No more going home depleted with nothing left to give.
You arrive focused. You teach with full presence. You leave with energy intact.
Full pay. Fewer hours in front of a class. The ideal position for VIT registered teachers.
Approximately aligned with Victorian graduate teacher salary standards. Long-term leadership and growth opportunities available for teachers who align with the Scholarly Hub vision.
Scholarly Hub is illuminating the path for every learner… Discover + Recognise + Shine
"Among 8.2 billion people, every child arrives carrying a blueprint uniquely their own — one that has never existed before and never will again. At Scholarly Hub, we don't just teach children to fit a mould — we help them discover who makes them extraordinary, recognise their infinite value, and shine their light upon the world." — Radhika Kumar, Founder & Principal, Scholarly Hub
You Remember Why You Started.
There was a moment — before the marking, before the behaviour management,
before the survival mode set in — when you chose teaching because you believed you could genuinely change a young person's life.
That moment is still true. You just haven't had an environment worthy of it.
At Scholarly Hub is here now to offer teachers the professional home they always deserved — where their wellbeing, wisdom, and impact are celebrated, not overlooked.
We know teachers who have endured:
- ❌ Bureaucratic agendas that bury their passion
- School politics that silence their voice
- Staff conflict and hostility that drain their energy
- Workplace harassment that goes unaddressed
- Professional intimidation that erodes their confidence
- Unsupportive leadership that never sees their worth
- Dismissive workplace cultures that make them invisible
- Environments where their best was never enough ❌
We are seeking exceptional VIT-registered English and Mathematics teachers who are ready to stop surviving the system — and start building a better one — a teacher's role that is genuinely appreciated and valued. New graduate teachers are welcomed and encouraged to apply for this position.
"Learning is a voyage, you are at the helm and your choices are the shining stars"
– Scholarly Hub
Learning Is a Voyage. At Scholarly Hub, Students Hold the Helm.
We reject the traditional notion that teachers exist merely to manage classrooms and deliver content. We are student advocates, mentors, guides, advisors, and academic partners who walk alongside young people as they develop confidence, character, intellectual curiosity, and the courage to realise their highest potential.
Our vision is to help every student discover who makes them extraordinary, recognise their infinite value, and shine their light upon the world — pioneers, not passengers.
This is not a vision you deliver. It's one you live alongside your students, every session.
The Science Behind the Model: Maslow in the Classroom
Maslow gave us the language for what great teachers have always known intuitively: a student cannot reach their highest potential until their foundational needs are met.
- Before curiosity can flourish, a student needs to feel safe.
- Before confidence can grow, they need to feel they belong.
- Before academic excellence can emerge, they need to feel valued and seen.
At Scholarly Hub, we build from the ground up. Deliberately. Session by session. Our goal is self-transcendence: the point at which a student stops asking "Am I good enough?" and starts asking "What can I contribute to this world?"
The bridge between those two questions is a teacher with the emotional intelligence to sense where a student is — and the intuition to know how to move them forward.
Teaching Is Not a Craft. It's a Calling.
The teachers we are looking for don't just walk into a room. They read it.
Before a word is spoken, they feel which student slept badly. They sense who is one careless comment away from shutting down — and who is quietly, invisibly, on the edge of a breakthrough they don't yet believe in themselves.
This is emotional intelligence at its highest level. Not a soft skill. A professional superpower.
They carry a deep self-awareness that keeps them regulated, grounded, and genuinely present. They know when to push and when to wait. They trust their intuition — choosing the room over the lesson plan when the moment calls for it.
This is not improvisation. It is mastery. It is what separates teachers who deliver curriculum from teachers who change lives.
The Scholarly Hub Model
Each session runs in two intentional parts:
1.
Mentorship & Human Development Safety, belonging, confidence, accountability, and mindset — because whole people learn. Emotional intelligence and intuition are not supplementary here. They are the method.
2. Deep Academic Instruction Structured English or Mathematics instruction rooted in conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and genuine intellectual growth.
It is an educational model built on the conviction that when you develop a person, results follow.
Our Five Pillars
- KNOWLEDGE — Fuelling Curiosity
- RECOGNITION — Uncovering Potential
- GROWTH — Building Confidence
- IMPACT — Shaping Tomorrow
- SHINE — Lighting the World
What Sets This Role Apart
- Maximum 16 students per teacher — real relationships, real impact, real mentorship
- No reactive classroom management — our intake and culture are carefully curated
- Dedicated mentorship time every session — built into the model, not squeezed around curriculum
- You are building something — your voice and philosophy will shape this organisation as it grows
- Leadership pathways into Senior Teacher, Mentorship Leadership, and Campus Leadership roles
- At Scholarly Hub, we intentionally cultivate a workplace where teachers feel heard, seen, valued, and supported. The wellbeing of our teachers is not an afterthought — it is a core pillar of our educational philosophy.
"Teachers — Are You Ready To Feel Heard, Seen, and Valued Again?"
Who We're Looking For
Not just a teacher. A revolutionary.
The teacher we're looking for walks in carrying their own self-awareness like a compass — knowing their triggers, their tendencies, the places where their own story might get in the way of a student's. They do the inner work, because you cannot take a student somewhere you haven't been willing to go yourself.
They lead with impact, not output. They don't measure a good session by how much content was covered — but by whether something shifted in a student's belief, confidence, or sense of what is possible for them.
They trust their intuition. They possess the emotional intelligence to hold a young person's uncertainty without projecting, rescuing, or rushing to resolution.
If this is how you teach — or how you have always wanted to teach — Scholarly Hub was built for you.
You must hold current VIT registration and specialise in English and/or Mathematics.
Teachers may specialise in either English or Mathematics, or teach both subjects according to their expertise and preference.
Candidate Targeting field: Australian-trained teachers. High Proficiency in English. Local classroom experience within the Victorian or Australian Curriculum To Apply

About Scholarly Hub
Scholarly Hub was founded on a simple but radical conviction: too many students are moving through education without ever feeling truly seen — and too many talented teachers are leaving the profession for the same reason.
Philosophical Foundation:
Scholarly Hub is built on the philosophy that education is liberation. Grounded in the work of Freire, Sartre, Rousseau, Kant and Maslow, the model treats every child as a co-creator of their learning — not a passive recipient. Content knowledge, emotional wellbeing and personal development are inseparable.
