Subiaco Bar & Bistro is a vibrant hospitality venue located in the heart of Subiaco, offering quality food, exceptional customer service and a welcoming dining experience. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Cook to join our growing team on a full-time basis.

Position Details

Position: Cook
Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent
Hours: Minimum 38 hours per week
Salary: $80,000 per annum plus Superannuation
Location: 10/531 Hay Street, Subiaco WA 6008

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present high-quality meals in accordance with menu specifications.
• Assist in planning and developing menu items.
• Maintain food quality, consistency and presentation standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and health regulations.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation.
• Minimise food wastage and maintain portion control.
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service.
• Assist in maintaining kitchen cleanliness and WHS compliance.

Skills & Experience Required





• Relevant Certificate III or Certificate IV qualification in Commercial Cookery, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience as a Cook.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
