As a Case Coordinator within our Participant stream you may be located at either BUSHkids Hervey Bay, Rockhampton or our Maroochydore service for this appointment. Your role is to support and build confidence and capability in families of children under 9 years with an NDIS plan or eligible diagnosis. You will provide guidance and support from referral through to effective use of their child’s plan, connecting families with appropriate providers, community and mainstream supports aligned to their child’s goals. Working collaboratively with families you will support informed decision-making while monitoring progress and adjusting supports as needed as well as strengthening families’ confidence to navigate the NDIS and broader service systems.

This position has become available through a service redesign, and you will be supported by our ECA Workplace Trainer & Supervisors throughout your onboarding/training and ongoing supervision in the role to further support you. About you

We are seeking your experience working in a case coordination/management or similar roles within the community services sector either across Disability, Children, Youth/Family, Early Intervention working within highly regulated service environments.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trusting relationships quickly
- Professional written communication skills necessary for case notes and report writing

- Understanding of the NDIS, choice and control, and the principles of person-centred care
- Proficient in MS Office suite and experience using CRM, data management, or case management systems

As part of our continued growth and commitment to supporting regional families, we are seeking to appoint Early Intervention Facilitators to our Rapid Intake and Triage Team. In this office‑based role, you will conduct phone‑based intake assessment calls to support informed decision making in relation to triage and appropriate service stream allocation for wait‑listed families. As an NDIS Partner in the Community, BUSHkids supports early intervention for children aged 0 to 6 years who are showing signs of developmental delay or up to 9 years who have an eligible NDIS diagnosis. You will be provided onboarding and training guided by our ECA Workplace Trainer and Supervisors and supported by our Intake Team Leader. You will be working in a geographically dispersed and experienced intake team of Social Workers, Early Childhood professionals and other Early Intervention Facilitators.

Multiple positions available – Maroochydore, Caloundra and Bundaberg centres offering a full‑time or part‑time fixed‑term contract basis through to 18 December 2026. Part‑time availability requires a minimum of 20 hours per week that can be worked across standard business hours in a 5‑day fortnight or school hours across 5 days. This role is office‑based and does not offer a remote work arrangement.

About you

This role is ideally suited to someone with experience in intake, triage or first‑point‑of‑contact work with families, particularly in early years, community services or family support settings. You may have worked in early childhood, disability, family support, community services or a similar people‑facing role and are confident having structured conversations with families, gathering key information, identifying immediate needs and guiding families through next steps.

We are looking for someone who brings:

- Prior experience in intake, triage or first‑contact roles, ideally working with children and families
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly, ask clear questions, accurately summarise information, and explain systems and next steps
- Professional written communication skills suitable for accurate case notes, and records.
- Experience supporting vulnerable families, with an understanding of the practical and social barriers families may face accessing services
- Confidence working in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment with competing priorities
- Good judgement, attention to detail, and the ability to follow structured workflows and escalation pathways

As a First Nations identified Allied Health Assistant you will play an important role in supporting families within the Cunnamulla community. The focus is on engaging and empowering First Nations families to provide their children with the best possible start, while also supporting and helping to facilitate access to BUSHkids services. The role provides support for our Early Intervention services, including Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy sessions, provided by visiting allied health professionals to children living in the region. The role is a permanent part-time position to support families to implement strategies to support child’s development and wellbeing, support community liaison with access to early childhood services.

We are seeking passionate Speech Pathologists to join our teams across Emerald, Gladstone, Bundaberg, Hervey Bay, Rockhampton, Sunshine Coast (Maroochydore or Caloundra), Mt Isa, Warwick and Dalby. Whether you are an experienced clinician or a new graduate, BUSHkids offers a meaningful chance to make a difference in children’s early years through our regional services. You will work with children aged up to 13 years who may be experiencing developmental delays, disabilities, or at risk of educational, emotional or behavioural challenges.

Our early therapy intervention is short‑term and goal‑oriented, delivered through Allied Health and NDIS service streams, with a holistic family‑centred approach guided by our BUSHkids model of care. Services are provided face‑to‑face or via telepractice within multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary teams.

For graduating clinicians, our two‑year ‘Brighter Futures’ Graduate Program provides a structured and supported pathway into practice including:
