We’re looking for a reliable and hard-working Depot Hand & Forklift Operator to join our team at Sandgate Bottle & Can Exchange. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for safely unloading and sorting containers, assisting customers, operating a forklift to manage bulk materials, and maintaining a clean and productive work setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklift to move and load/unload bulk container bins
Sort and process containers returned through the Containers for Change program
Assist customers with their returns and provide excellent service
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the depot area
Support team members with general depot duties
What You’ll Need:
Valid forklift licence (LF)
Physically fit and able to lift up to 15kg
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Availability to work versatile shifts, including weekends
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $31.19 per hour
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
