Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for maintaining spaces that support the health and well-being of the community? We’re looking for a dedicated Facility and Grounds Officer to join our team. This is your chance to bring your skills to a role that blends the best of practical work with meaningful contributions to the smooth operation of a health facility.
**About the Role**:
As a Facility and Grounds Officer, you’ll be at the heart of ensuring the upkeep and safety of our health unit. Your expertise in general facility maintenance, grounds care, and equipment management will play a vital role in keeping everything running smoothly. From conducting regular checks and repairs on machinery to tending to the gardens, every day will offer variety and the satisfaction of knowing you’re directly supporting a space that makes a difference in people's lives. Key responsibilities include:
- **Facility Maintenance**: You’ll be hands-on with carpentry, plumbing, painting, and mechanical repairs, ensuring the interior and exterior of the health unit are in top condition.
- **Grounds and Horticulture**: Specialised pruning, transplanting, pest control, and more. You'll also help maintain our plants and their labels, all while fostering a healthy, vibrant environment.
