We currently have multiple opportunities for suitably experienced Plant Operator & Multi-Skilled Workers to join our Depot services team in Maroubra.

The successful candidates will be a part of the City Cleansing team required to undertake a range of waste and cleansing activities across Randwick’s LGA, including mechanical street and footpath sweeping, public litter bin servicing, trade waste collection, manual cleaning, pressure washing, and beach cleaning services.

A commitment to workplace safety is fundamental as well as providing superior customer service to promote a positive image of Council. Previous experience in a similar role will be highly advantageous.

- Drive and operate a range of Council vehicles and plant, including compactor trucks, utility vehicles, mechanical road and footpath sweepers, and associated city cleansing equipment.
- Perform duties with minimal supervision, while also being able to work in a team environment
- Perform all activities in accordance with Council’s Safe Work Method Statements
- Ensure compliance with legislative, industrial and Council policy requirements and standards in the areas of Equal Employment Opportunity; Work, Health and Safety and Rehabilitation; and environmental protection.
- Exercise all delegated responsibilities in a diligent manner
