WHO WE ARE

Nose to Tail Pet Pty Ltd (NTT) owns two Australian pet health brands that are both growing fast: Natural Animal Solutions (NAS) and The Paw Grocer (TPG). Everything we do is focused on the health of companion animals. The products are premium, the ingredients are as good as they come, and the team is small enough that everyone's work actually matters.

Natural Animal Solutions

Melbourne-based manufacturer of natural pet health supplements, operating from our Hallam site since 2005. We make oils, powders, and specialty treatments in-house, and we've recently invested in Freeze Formed functional treats, blended and produced to our own spec.

The Paw Grocer A freeze-dried pet food brand that's found its way onto the shelves at Coles, Woolworths, Big W and Metcash, as well as into pet specialty retailers nationally. Proteins are sourced from Australian primary producers, processed at contract manufacturers in TAS and QLD, and distributed across two distinct channels.

Both brands are growing strongly right now, and we're building the systems and team capability to keep pace with that growth. The timing of this hire is deliberate.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We need a Procurement & Planning Officer to own the data and planning work that keeps our supply chain running across both brands. The role is based at Hallam and covers everything from NAS raw material purchasing through to monitoring online fulfilment performance for TPG.

It's a broad role with real ownership. You'll run the procurement and inventory planning systems, have visibility across the full supply chain, and take the lead on our group ERP transition at the Hallam level. Day to day you'll work closely with our Operations & Procurement Manager (remote), and sit alongside our Head of Production Operations, Warehouse Supervisor, Finance, and Sales teams on site.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Plan & Analyse

- Demand forecasting by SKU across both brands
- Inventory analysis across multiple sites
- NAS production schedule planning
- Safety stock management
- ERP transition — Hallam workstream lead

Procure & Execute

- NAS raw material purchasing — domestic & international
- RFx process — quotes, specs, evaluation
- Purchase order management & supplier liaison
- Import documentation & customs coordination
- BOM & system data integrity
- HACCP & quality documentation

Oversee & Report

- Hallam customer distribution (NAS & TPG)
- Shopify COGS accuracy — both brands
- Online sales forecasting and stock requirements
- Monthly KPI dashboard
- Pricing & COGS analysis
- Online fulfilment cost review

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're open on background. What we care about most is analytical ability, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in how supply chains and products work. We've had good results with candidates from three different directions:

Science / Technical

If you've studied food technology, veterinary or animal science, nutrition, or a related field, the ingredient and quality knowledge you bring is a real asset here. This role sits at the interface between what goes into our products and how we source and plan for it.

Procurement / Supply Chain

If you've been working in purchasing, inventory planning,



or supply chain analysis in FMCG or manufacturing, you'll find this role familiar enough to hit the ground running and different enough to be genuinely interesting.

Finance / Accounting

If you're in finance or accounting and want to work closer to the operational side of a business, this is a good move. COGS tracking, inventory analysis, and pricing reviews are central to the role.

Regardless of background, you need to bring:

- Suitable tertiary or other education.
- Strong Excel skills. Formulas, pivot tables, building a model from scratch.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Accurate, thorough work habits. The data and documentation in this role matters.
- An interest in how products are made and moved, not just the numbers behind them.
- The ability to work well with a manager you won't see in person every day.

WHAT WE OFFER

Two brands, one role. You'll have visibility across procurement, planning, fulfilment, and pricing, and you'll lead our ERP transition at the Hallam level in your first year.
