The Role
- Leads the implementation and engagement of safety and health reform, continuous improvement and change management approaches.
- Contributes to the implementation of best practice standards and achievements of the Directorate's Operational Plan.
- Conducts sensitive high-level enforcement activity aligned with the Group's programs and policies; including preparing investigation and prosecution reports and providing expert advice for investigations as required.
- Undertakes audits, inspections and reports on workplaces and practices related to mining operations; including technically complex accidents and incidents.
- Responds to requests for complex regulatory and technical information; initiates and responds to correspondence; prepares documentation to enforce legislation.
Qualifications & Licenses
- Bachelor of Engineering in mining, or other approved bachelor’s degree related to the resources sector.
