About the Role
Our client is a well-established supplier within the industrial storage, logistics, and materials handling sector, servicing some of Australia's largest retail and commercial organisations. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor & Coordinator to join their Dandenong South operation.
This is a hands-on role that combines warehouse coordination, inventory control, ERP/WMS administration, and forklift operation. Working within a close-knit team, you will play a key role in ensuring stock accuracy, maintaining operational efficiency, and supporting the smooth flow of goods throughout the warehouse.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing warehouse floor involvement with systems, process management, and inventory accountability.
Shift Times & Salary
Hours: Monday to Friday | Day Shift
Salary: $80,000 + Superannuation
This is a permanent full-time opportunity offering long-term stability and future career progression.
What You'll Be Doing
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating daily warehouse activities including picking, packing, staging, and dispatch
- Supporting inbound and outbound freight operations to ensure customer deadlines are achieved
- Operating Counterbalance forklifts to load, unload, and move stock safely throughout the facility
- Maintaining accurate inventory records through ERP/WMS transactions
- Managing stock movements, adjustments, and inventory accuracy across the warehouse
- Conducting cycle counts and assisting with stocktakes
- Investigating stock discrepancies and resolving inventory variances
- Supporting lot tracking, traceability,
and stock control processes
- Allocating storage locations and optimising warehouse layouts for efficiency
- Ensuring inventory is correctly labelled, stored, and managed
- Preparing and maintaining shipping documentation, manifests, and dispatch paperwork
- Liaising with administration, customer service, and operational teams to coordinate orders and freight movements
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and audit-ready warehouse environment
- Promoting safe work practices and ensuring compliance with workplace safety procedures
What We're Looking For
If you have experience with warehouse supervision & coordination, logistics, distribution, 3PL, manufacturing, industrial supply, or materials handling environments.
You'll also need:
- Minimum 2–3 years' experience in warehouse supervisor, coordination, logistics, or warehouse operations
- Valid LF Forklift License
- Strong hands-on warehouse experience
- Experience using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (Infor)
- Strong inventory control and stock management experience
- Intermediate Microsoft Office and Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Robust communication skills with the ability to work across warehouse and office teams
- Ability to work independently and contribute within a small team environment
- Reliable work ethic and strong problem-solving ability
- Full Australian working rights (Citizen, Permanent Resident, or unrestricted work rights)
Highly Regarded
- Experience using Infor ERP/WMS
- Exposure to 3PL or high-volume warehouse operations
- Previous experience leading or coordinating small warehouse teams
- Experience servicing large retail, commercial, or corporate customer accounts
- Exposure to DIFOT (Delivery In Full, On Time) performance environments
- Strong understanding of warehouse process improvement and inventory accuracy initiatives
- Current White Card (Construction Induction)
