About Us

Hinkler Park Management (HPM) is a leading macadamia farming contractor working with one of the world's largest macadamia growers. We operate across multiple farms in Queensland, including locations in Oakwood, Childers, Moore Park, Redridge. Maryborough and Mt Bauple.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking motivated Farm Hands who are ready to take on a diverse and challenging role in agricultural operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about practical, outdoor work and machinery operation.

What you will Bring

- Willingness to put in an honest day's work

- Reliability, positive communication skills, safety focused, a keenness to learn, and a team player.

- Own reliable transport to get to and from work & current Australian manual driver's licence.

- Australian permanent residency or citizenship is required for this position.

- Willingness to work in all weather conditions.

- Physical fitness to handle manual tasks.

- Mechanical aptitude.

- Commitment to workplace safety.

- Some farm experience is preferred for this position.

Preferred skills

- Ability to operate a variety of farm machinery in a secure and efficient manner whilst minimalizing wear and tear such as, but not limited to, tractors, macadamia harvesters, nurse tankers, sprayers, slashers, bikes and ATVs.

- Basic tractor operation experience is required,



with training provided for additional machinery types.

- Chem Cert accreditation (or willingness to obtain),

- Agricultural / Horticultural farming background.

Key Duties

Your responsibilities will include:

- Pest management throughout the farms.

- Tree maintenance and orchard care.

- Irrigation and fertigation management.

- Canopy management – pole saw / hand saw.

- Regular spraying – herbicide / pesticide, including nightshifts.

- Physical farm tasks daily.

- Mechanical aptitude including the ability to service a machine following a defined procedure and identify quickly when there is an issue with a machine.

- Performing tractor work (slashing, spraying, apply fertilizer and weed control).

- Supporting team operations through effective communication.
