A vacancy currently exists for a HEAVY DIESEL / DIESEL FITTER MECHANIC to join our team.

Required:

Australian trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Mechanic

Experience working on heavy vehicles, trucks, or plant equipment, preferably in the drilling industry

Current manual driver's licence (heavy vehicle licence preferred or willingness to obtain)

Ability to pass pre-employment medical, as well as initial and ongoing drug & alcohol screens

Current Police Check (within 12 months) or ability to obtain

A strong work ethic, with a focus on safety and record keeping

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Positive verbal and written communication skills

Reliable, motivated, and committed to quality workmanship

A spirit of cooperation toward other employees working towards the Company's goals

Good general physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual labour

Ability to accept feedback in a positive manner





Your responsibilities will include:

Service, maintain, and repair trucks, trailers, and plant equipment

Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs efficiently

Attend breakdowns and perform mobile servicing when required

Order parts and liaise with customers professionally

Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records

Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard

Location:

This role is based in our Deniliquin Workshop. Regular travel will be required to our Broken Hill workshop and to various mine sites in NSW and SA. Mechanics LV available for all offsite travel. Meals & Accommodation provided when offsite.

FIFO / DIDO may be considered for the right applicant.
