- Contracts Administrator – commercial, industrial, retail contractor

- Current projects include service stations, industrial warehouses, rapid food restaurants, supermarkets and shopping centres. Both new build construction and heavy refurb projects from $5M - $50M

- Choice of offices – base yourself in Brisbane (Fortitude Valley) or Gold Coast (Southport)

- Excellent mid-tier refurb, fit-out and new build contractor

- Bachelors degree in civil engineering or construction management with 1-5+ years experience as a CA desirable.

- Junior or stand-alone level contracts administrator candidates encouraged to apply

- $120,000 - $150,000 + Super on offer (D.O.E) + laptop and $1,300 mobile phone allowance (D.O.E) – Monday – Friday working week + 25 days Annual leave per annum

The company:

Our client is an established, national contractor with a specialism in delivering D&C; industrial, retail and commercial building and refurbishment projects throughout Australia which are typically valued between $5M - $50M. Due to a heavy workload and several recently secured projects from repeat business clients, this building contractor seeks to hire a construction Contracts Administrator with previous, demonstrable success with mid-tier construction, fit-out and refurbishment contractors in Australia.





While reporting into a project manager and working on exciting new build D&C; industrial and shopping centres your duties will include;

- Contract letting and procurement

- Cost reporting and forecasting

- Working on Design and Construct (D&C;) projects

- Preparing Scope of Works

- Sub-contractor negotiation

- Assess progress claims and subcontract payments

- Preparing and submitting variations to the client

To be suitable for this position it is anticipated that you will possess the following;

- Will have approx. 1-5 years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator

- Ideally have a construction related tertiary qualification, ideally in Construction Management or Engineering

- Will have worked for reputable Australian building contractors in the mid-tier building contracting space

- Experience working on retail and industrial construction projects would be highly desirable.

- Will have worked with construction software in-keeping with the mid-tier commercial and industrial construction space.

- Experience with construction software and systems such as CHEOPS, Jobpac, MS Projects, Hammertech and/or Procore would be hugely beneficial.
