Here's the thing though: we're really good at what we do, and almost nobody knows about it. Our marketing has never had a proper dedicated team. That's where you come in.
?The Role
This is Alltech's first dedicated marketing hire - and it's a builder's role, not a maintainer's.
You'll own the execution of our entire marketing function: content, social media, case studies, website, sales materials, and partnerships. You're not stepping into a machine that already runs. You're going to be building the machine working hand-in-hand with our marketing veteran that will provide the strategic guidance, mentorship and support to accelerate your career growth path.
This is not going to be an easy breezy job, but if you’re someone that’s driven, switched on and is craving to find the right business that will support and accelerate your career - you’ve come to the right place. The role foundations have been built and mapped up in detail but you have a say in the finer details of your role - it’s a collaborative effort.
You'll report to and work closely with our COO & CMO - you bring it to life. You'll have direction and mentorship, but real ownership of what you create, your ideas actually having weight, your experience and passion actually being taken seriously.
It's part-time start (24 hours a week across three days) with a clear path to grow - in hours, seniority and scope - as Alltech scales.
What You'll Be Doing
? Building and running our social media presence - content calendar, creation, scheduling and community management across LinkedIn and Instagram
? Turning 5 years of seriously impressive projects into compelling case studies and a portfolio that sells
? Leading a full website audit and redesign - owning our digital storefront end to end
? Setting up and managing HubSpot - sales pipeline, email automations, sequences as well as a Rentman & Teamwork integration
? Creating sales enablement materials - service booklets, pitch decks, capability statements and video content
? Capturing real content on-site at jobs and events (the valuable stuff doesn't come from a desk)
? Helping with strategic partnerships
? Helping shape and document the marketing systems and processes we've never had
No two weeks will look the same. You'll juggle creative, technical and commercial work - and you'll see the impact of what you build.
What You Need To Bring
This isn't an entry-level “keen to learn” moment.
We're not looking for someone who needs a brief for every task and a chase for every deadline.
We're looking for a builder - someone with initiative, taste, commercial instinct and the drive to create something from scratch and own it.
. Marketing / Creative
? 3+ years hands-on marketing experience - content creation, social media management, ideally some HubSpot
? Genuinely strong writer - case studies, social copy, web content and sales collateral all come from you
? Design-capable - Canva at minimum, Adobe a bonus
? Comfortable producing and editing video content (or keen and able to learn fast)
? Experience in events, AV, production or a trades/services business
? Website CMS experience (WordPress or similar)
? SEO basics and Google Analytics
? AI content tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Veo) baked into your workflow
? Photography, videography or podcast production chops
. Commercial / Process
? A commercial brain - you understand marketing exists to drive revenue, not just make things look nice
? Strong organisation and follow-through - you keep a content calendar alive without being told
? Comfortable building systems and documenting processes as you go
? HubSpot or CRM setup experience is a big plus
. Work Style
? Self-directed and accountable - no hand-holding required, no excuses, owns mistakes and fixes them
? Detail-obsessed - nothing goes out under the Alltech name with a typo or off-brand visual
? Adaptable and willing to do what needs doing in a small, fast-moving team
? Sydney-based and able to work from our office on scheduled days - this is NOT a remote-VA role
