We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Administration Assistant to join our Melbourne Head Office team. Based at Queens Road, Melbourne CBD, the successful applicant will provide assistance to the finance team in all matters relating to accounts receivable.
You will deliver excellence in customer service through all interactions with internal customers, external customers and key stakeholders.
This role will suit someone who enjoys consistency and repetitiveness in their workload.
A National Police check is required for this position.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Uphold and maintain complete confidentiality in relation to all company finances
- Uphold company values of Integrity, Respect, Passion, Leadership and Accountability through all interactions with team, customers, and key stakeholders
- Effectively contribute to team work to achieve team goals
- Investigate and resolve customer discrepancies
- Conduct debt recovery
- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Organise and keep email inbox and filing system updated
- Handle email inquiries from customers regarding accounts
- Assist broader finance team when required
- Deliver excellence in service to all internal and external customers and key stakeholders
- Undertake accounts payable and receivable activities
- Send customer statements
- Check supplier statements to match to invoices
- Process credit applications
- Undertake debt collection
- Bank reconciliation
- Reconciliation of external accounts
- Maintain filing system
Essential:
- Previous experience in accounts payable and receivable
- High attention to detail and excellent computer literacy and accuracy
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- Fast and accurate alpha numeric data entry skills
- Demonstrated attitude of service and experience in providing excellent customer service
- Fully Vaccinated against COVID-19
