ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this Financial Accountant role will take ownership of financial reporting, compliance and month-end processes while providing valuable commercial insights to support business performance. Working closely with stakeholders across multiple functions, you'll play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, driving process improvements and contributing to finance transformation initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically solid accountant looking to broaden their experience within a dynamic global organisation while gaining exposure to senior stakeholders and strategic projects.

DUTIES

- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including sub-ledgers, inventory, accruals, prepayments and lease accounting
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and oversee balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare and support tax compliance activities including BAS, FBT,



payroll tax and income tax requirements
- Coordinate quarterly intercompany reconciliations
- Manage external audit processes and liaise with auditors, advisors and regulatory bodies
- Deliver financial analysis, variance reporting and performance insights to support decision-making
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
- Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen controls and reporting efficiencies
- Support finance transformation and system enhancement initiatives
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and documentation
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide financial guidance and support
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and accounting projects as required

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion
- 3-5+ years' experience in financial accounting, external audit or a similar finance role
- Solid understanding of IFRS/AASB accounting standards and financial reporting requirements
- Experience using SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management capabilities




- Experience within a medium-to-large corporate environment will be highly regarded
- Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive, collaborative approach
