About the Role

South32 together with WorkPac are commencing recruitment for Ancillary Operators to promote the equality of its workforce at Groote Eylandt Mining Company (GEMCO) in the Gulf of Carpentaria. Successful candidates will be FIFO from Darwin on a 7/7 Roster and be fully committed to a rewarding career in the Mining industry.

What you will be doing

As a member of the GEMCO Ancillary Team, you will be operating Excavators and Moxy Trucks in a mining environment. You will work 12.25hr shifts on a 7/7 roster (7 on, 7 off) and work both Day and Night shifts

What you will need

- Minimum 12 months production mining experience operating 30T Moxy Trucks (or higher) and 30T Excavators (or higher)

- Experience in Poly Welding, Bob Cat Operation, Dewatering and Blast crew would beneficial

- A residential address within 1hr of Darwin

- A current Heavy Rigid Licence (Manual)

- The ability to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical including Drug and Alcohol screening
