This K-6 Principal position offers the scope to lead teaching, operations, and long-term improvement in a regional setting. With a structured five-year contract, the role is suited to a leader who values clarity, accountability, and sustained impact. Leadership experience in the primary (K-6) sector is essential.

Commencement: Term 4, 2026 (negotiable to Term 1, 2027)

The Role
You will guide whole-school direction-strengthening teaching practice, building staff capability, and ensuring consistent progress in student outcomes. The position requires balanced leadership: strategic thinking combined with practical, day-to-day decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Set and deliver a transparent vision for teaching and learning aligned to contemporary practice

- Develop staff through targeted coaching, feedback, and performance processes

- Lead school improvement planning with defined, trackable priorities

- Manage operations including finance, compliance, enrolments, and risk

- Implement systems that support student wellbeing, behaviour, and inclusion

- Strengthen engagement with families and the wider community
