Dionysius Transport Services is a family operated business that specialises in transporting containers in and around the South - East Queensland areas. We specialise in providing importers and exporters transport solutions in delivering containers to or from their door step. We are a family business founded on friendly and reliable service that has grown into a progressive transport company.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic customer focused individual to build relationships and enhance customer satisfaction and retainment as well as provide accurate transport allocations.

Responsibilities:

As a Afternoon Fleet Allocator you will help manage our fleet delivering to South East Queensland. Your duties will include:

- Allocate and oversee allocation of deliveries to fleet of vehicles

- Ensure Chain of Responsibility standards are planned for and met

- Monitor and maximise the performance of the heavy vehicle operators

- Input data into internal systems

- Ensure Procedures and Policies are understood and adhered to

- Ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders

- Liaising with the warehouse supervisor,



drivers and others about priorities, schedules and routes

- Following safety, legal and company guidelines in how operations are planned, monitored and conducted

- Ensuring systems and processes are followed, from planning and record keeping through to safe and effective work practices

Skills Required:

- Excellent communication, interpersonal and written skills.

- Excellent organisation skills

- Experience with the 1-Stop, Container Chain systems preffered

- Experience with Freight tracker essential

- Ability to work under pressure

- Be available to work Monday - Friday with occasional weekend shift

- A minimum 2 years’ experience as an operational transport planner

- An organised mindset with good time management and prioritisation skills

- Willingness to work as a responsible, respected and respectful part of the team

- Knowledge of safety and legal frameworks, rules and processes as they relate to the transport industry
