Sublime Car Care is a premium automotive detailing company currently operating multiple mobile crews servicing clients six days per week. We are a growing team that values craftsmanship, professionalism, and high standards across every service we deliver.

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced, driven Lead Detailer / Manager to take ownership of day-to-day operations at Sublime Car Care. This is a dual role — you will be hands-on with detailing work while also taking responsibility for managing staff, maintaining workshop organisation, and ensuring every vehicle leaves to our quality standard.

This is a full-time position suited to someone who takes pride in their craft, leads by example, and is ready to step into a role with real responsibility.

Core Responsibilities

Detailing

- Perform interior and exterior detailing services on customer vehicles

- Handle a wide range of vehicle conditions, including heavily soiled and restoration-level details

- Deliver specialised services such as paint correction, ceramic coatings, and PPF (if you don’t know how to do these skills training will be provided)

- Uphold and enforce the company's quality standards on every job

Leadership & Workshop Management

- Manage and coordinate detailing staff day-to-day

- Oversee workshop organisation and ensure the workspace is clean, efficient,



and well-maintained

- Train and onboard new team members, building their skills and confidence

- Conduct final quality checks on completed vehicles before customer handover

- Monitor and manage inventory — track product levels, place orders, and ensure supplies are always stocked

General

- Arrive on time and set the standard for the team in professionalism and work ethic

- Communicate professionally with customers and staff

- Contribute ideas to improve processes, efficiency, and service quality

- Report directly to ownership and assist with operational decisions as the business grows

What We're Looking For

- Proven experience in automotive detailing (required)

- Experience leading or supervising a team (preferred)

- Solid attention to detail and high personal standards

- Organised, reliable, and proactive — someone who takes initiative

- Professional, customer-focused communication

- Valid Driver's Licence and reliable transportation

- Ability to perform consistent, physical hands-on work

Compensation

This is a senior role and compensation will reflect experience and capability. Rates are negotiable based on what you bring to the table.

- Base pay commensurate with experience

- Additional earning potential for advanced services (paint correction, ceramic coatings, PPF)

- Leadership responsibilities recognised in compensation
