Auto Repair Group is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 1st year Automotive Mechanic Apprentice to join our team based in the Eastern suburbs, Victoria. In this full-time role, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in a supportive and dynamic environment, working alongside experienced professionals in the automotive industry.
Applicants may be currently enrolled in an automotive apprenticeship programme or we can arrange enrollment for suitable candidates.
What you'll be doing
- Assist in the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Participate in comprehensive on-the-job training to develop your technical skills and knowledge
- Work closely with the experienced mechanics to learn proper techniques and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure the highest standards of workmanship
What we're looking for
- A genuine interest and passion for the automotive industry
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and a proactive attitude
- Positive communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Australian work rights are required for this position
- Must have a drivers license
