We are currently seeking an experienced and pro-active Scheduler to join our Operations Team at our Maddington Office. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised individual to play a pivotal role in the ongoing success of our dynamic and expanding business in the sector of environmental cleaning in WA . You will have the chance to contribute to a variety of important operational tasks including scheduling of employees. You will develop a sense of achievement knowing you have balanced a few tasks and resources to provide timely support to the team, including State Manager. Be recognised for your in depth knowledge. Key Responsibilities…
- Coordinate scheduling of work, including booking and allocation of jobs, and preparing weekly schedules and maps
- Communicate and monitor schedules and work requirements to operators and the workshop
- Ensure all sweep cycles are managed according to contractual obligations, including preplanning resources
- Plan, schedule, and monitor the use of trucks, plant, and equipment for optimal utilisation and communicate with operators and the workshop, as required
- Provide councils with daily, weekly, and monthly program reports
- Manage operator administration, including employee run sheets, job dockets, and time book data
- Facilitate employee site inductions
- General administrative tasks as required and deemed a reasonable request given the scope and objectives of the position.
To succeed in this role, you will need to…
- Possess proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel, and QuickBooks
- Be professional with a keen interest in a dynamic work environment
- Have experience in high-paced scheduling roles
- Use your strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Have a high attention to detail
- Operate with a flexible & solution- based approach
- Demonstrate efficient data entry/typing skills
- Be self-motivated, enthusiastic with the ability to work autonomously as well as thrive as an active team member
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask various priorities- no day is the same!
- Pass a drug and alcohol assessment
