The Opportunity
Mancala is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to support the delivery of our underground mining contract with Norton Gold Fields (NGF).

You will play a key leadership role in overseeing underground operations, including development, longhole stoping, drilling, tele-remoting, and airleg rising. Leading a workforce of approximately 50 personnel, you will be responsible for operational performance, safety, financial outcomes, and client relationships.

This role operates on an alternating roster in conjunction with the current Project Manager, ensuring continuity of leadership and operational oversight across the site.

Key Responsibilities

- Support and oversee daily site operations.

- Lead safety, environmental, and statutory compliance.

- Manage project performance, budgets,



forecasts, and reporting.

- Drive operational efficiency, productivity, and continuous improvement.

- Lead workforce planning, recruitment, and team development.

- Maintain robust client relationships and contractual compliance.

- Ensure plant availability and operational readiness.

- Review mine plans, schedules, and production performance.

About You

- First Class Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency or WA Shift Boss Qualification (essential).

- Minimum 7 years' experience in underground mining leadership roles.

- Strong operational, financial, and project management capability.

- Proven leadership and communication skills.

- Experience with mine planning, budgeting, and scheduling software.

- Full Australian working rights.
