Company Background

Our client is a well-established, rapid-growing, technology-led business with operations across a wide range of industries. The finance team operate nationally and oversees multiple business units.

They are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to support their finance function and partner with operational teams, to help ensure smooth processing post-system upgrade.

The Role

As the Accounts Officer, you will focus on:

- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processing

- Work through a high volume of supplier invoices and transactions

- Reconcile transactions and match POs from the operations/inventory systems to the accounting system

- Resolve internal and external AP queries





- Support process improvements for transactional accounting

- Ad hoc finance support as required

Your Background

To be considered for this Accounts Officer role, you will have the following skills and attributes:

- Immediately available

- Prior experience with end-to-end Accounts Payable

- Experience working closely with non-finance stakeholders

- Experience with Workday is highly regarded – in lieu of that, experience with multiple systems is considered

- Strong Excel skills – vlookups, pivot tables
