About the role

We are seeking a highly organised Document Controller to support a major public infrastructure project. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate, timely and compliant management of project documentation across all phases of delivery.

Working closely with project teams, subcontractors and key stakeholders, you will manage document control processes, maintain systems, and support the efficient flow of information across the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

- Manage the receipt, registration, distribution and filing of project documentation
- Maintain document control systems in line with project and client requirements
- Ensure accuracy, quality and version control of all documentation
- Coordinate document workflows including reviews, approvals and transmittals
- Support project teams with document retrieval, tracking and reporting
- Ensure compliance with project standards, naming conventions and procedures
- Assist with audits and maintain quality and compliance documentation requirements




- Liaise with internal teams, clients and subcontractors for timely document exchange

About you

You are a detail-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced project environments and takes pride in maintaining high standards of accuracy and organisation.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
- Ability to manage high volumes of documentation under tight deadlines
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination capability
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and resolve issues
- Previous experience in a Document Controller or similar role within construction, engineering or infrastructure
- Experience using document management systems (e.g. Aconex, TeamBinder or similar)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of document control processes, workflows and compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a project team
- Experience on large-scale infrastructure projects (highly regarded)
