Sydney Central Hotel, managed by The Ascott Limited, now seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join as part time Guest Service Officer. This part-time role will report to the Guest Service Manager and work closely with other departments.

In this role you will be responsible for:

- Delivering a warm, professional and efficient guest experience across check-in, check-out and general front office interactions in line with service standards.

- Responding promptly to guest requests, enquiries and concerns, while maintaining guest privacy, security and satisfaction at all times.

- Coordinating effectively with housekeeping and other internal departments to support room readiness, guest preferences, VIP arrangements and smooth shift handovers.

- Completing cashiering, auditing and administrative duties accurately, including balancing transactions, managing bookings, handling account adjustments and maintaining secure cash practices.

- Maintaining high presentation and operational standards throughout the property, while following company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.

To be successful in this role you must have:

- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, with the ability to deliver friendly and skilled service in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills,



with confidence in building rapport with guests, handling enquiries and working collaboratively with internal teams.

- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when managing guest information, financial transactions, audits and administrative tasks.

- A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to resolve issues, manage competing priorities and follow through on tasks effectively.

- Professional presentation and a strong commitment to company standards, policies, training requirements and workplace health and safety practices.
