Why This Role Matters

The Government's primary financial management system Masterpiece, used by most SA Government agencies excluding SA Health, is over 30 years old and nearing the end of its service life. The Finance Reform Program is leading a major initiative to replace it with Oracle and implement best practice processes. This transformation will significantly change how finance functions are performed across agencies and affect a wide range of stakeholders, including finance, ICT, and operations teams.

As an Accounts Receivable Lead, you'll work at the intersection of finance, technology and change, collaborating with agencies, implementation partners and project teams to design, configure and embed contemporary AR solutions that are efficient, consistent and fit for purpose.

About the Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to play a lead role in one of South Australia's most significant finance transformations.

In this role, you will:





- Lead the design and implementation of Accounts Receivable processes within the Oracle financial Fusion system

- Guide and support a team to develop standardised, best‑practice AR solutions

- Partner with agencies and stakeholders to understand needs and co‑design effective outcomes

- Deliver complex project work including process re‑engineering and standardisation

- Provide expert accounts receivable and project accounting advice across the program

- Work closely with vendors and technical teams to maximise Oracle out‑of‑the‑box functionality and automation

Remuneration
ASO8 ($125,649 - $130,392 p.a.) + 12% Superannuation

About You

We're looking for someone with:

- Strong expertise in accounts receivable and government finance practices

- Experience delivering large‑scale, complex projects with organisational impact

- Well-developed analytical and problem‑solving skills

- Clear, confident communication and the ability to provide trusted expert advice

- A cooperative mindset and the ability to build robust relationships across diverse stakeholders

- Experience translating business requirements into system configuration and process design
