As the Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving the growth of McMaster Finance by developing new business opportunities and building strong referral relationships across Tasmania.
You will be responsible for identifying and developing relationships with accountants, dealerships, business owners, equipment suppliers and other referral partners, while maintaining regular contact with our existing client base. Your focus will be on generating quality finance opportunities and working closely with our experienced broking team to deliver outstanding outcomes for clients.
This is a relationship-focused role that requires someone who is proactive, self-motivated and comfortable networking, meeting with clients face-to-face and representing the McMaster Finance brand in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate recent business opportunities through networking, referrals and business development activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with accountants, dealerships, equipment suppliers and business owners.
- Conduct regular client visits and referral partner meetings.
- Identify finance opportunities across commercial, equipment, vehicle and business lending.
- Maintain and grow existing client relationships.
- Work closely with brokers and support staff to ensure a smooth client experience.
- Attend industry events, networking functions and community activities.
- Maintain accurate records of client and referral partner interactions.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in business development, sales, account management, dealership sales, equipment sales who enjoys building relationships and creating opportunities.
