Hunter Early Childhood Centre is a child-safe, community owned and not-for-profit organisation providing quality education and care for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. Supported by the board of directors, HECC works to provide a quality educational long day care and pre-school to families in Newcastle in a safe and secure setting that focuses on family partnerships, child centered practices and overall wellbeing initiatives.
About the role
We currently have 2 full-time float roles available, where the successful candidates will have the opportunity to work across the whole service and support the team by covering breaks, programing and leave as required. If you love having a diverse work schedule, this could be the role for you!
The successful educators will work in collaboration with our supportive team across the centre to support the service and strive for excellence.

Skills and experience
What we are looking for?
-Strong focus on upholding a child safe environment and thorough understanding of safeguarding processes
-Knowledge of the NQF, and Early Years Learning Framework
- Diploma or Certificate III of Early Childhood Education, Diploma desirable
- Positivity and professionalism
-A verified WWCC
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of highly experienced educators
- An all rounder with the focus on positive child and family relationships
- Flexible and reliable team member
