Job Description:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Market Research Analyst to join a leading residential care provider on a 34-week contract. Reporting directly to the Strategy, Pricing and Category Manager, this role will play a key part in competitor and market analysis across a portfolio of residential villages.

The successful candidate will be responsible for researching a prepared list of competitor villages and assessing factors including location, proximity to local amenities, facilities, village layouts, overall customer experience, online reviews, and the overall appeal of each community. Findings will be compared against Ryman villages and presented in a explicit and structured format using Excel and PowerPoint.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct competitor and market research using online sources
- Analyse village locations, nearby amenities, facilities, layouts, and customer feedback
- Compare competitor offerings against own villages across 34 locations
- Accurately capture and maintain findings in Excel




- Create clear and insightful PowerPoint presentations to showcase results
- Support strategic decision-making through detailed market analysis and reporting

About You:

- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Advanced data entry and Excel skills
- Comfortable conducting online research and analysing information from multiple sources
- Experience within market research, market analysis, business insights, or competitor analysis would be highly regarded
- Background within real estate, property, retirement living, or a related sector is desirable but not essential
- Strong written communication and presentation skills
- Able to work independently and manage competing priorities
