About the Role
An opportunity has become available at our warehouse facility in Paget, Mackay for a full-time experienced Warehouse Supervisor for an immediate start.
This is a hands-on leadership role ensuring the warehouse and storage of inventory items are well organised, secure and maintained via defined processes. With the support of a number of direct reports, you will oversee all day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure the protected and efficient operation of the warehouse and logistics support functions. This includes but is not limited to ensuring accuracy in inventory holdings, optimisation of physical space usage, and the provision of safe, timely,
cost-effective logistics services in support of internal and external customers. This is a energetic role in town - and requires your experience in warehouse supervision with the ability to go home after a job well done at the end of each day.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
· Supervision of warehouse - all tasks, team and activities
· Receipting of goods and parts
· Cycle counting and stocktaking of all inventories
· Efficient storage of all inventory items
· Loading and unloading of trucks
· Organising freight and dispatch of all customer orders
· At all times, adhere to OH&S; practices
Skills & Qualifications
· Minimum of 3 years Warehouse and inventory management Supervision
· Valid Forklift and C Class Drivers Licence
· Intermediate Skills in Microsoft Office Suite programs
· Exposure to SAP an advantage
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Meticulous attention to detail
· Have initiative and be able to collaborate well as a team
· Problem-solving and decision-making skills essential
