School Crossing Supervisor – Casual – Randwick Local Government Area

Employment Details

Employment type: Casual
Hourly rate: $33.83 (plus superannuation)
Minimum one‑hour shifts during school term:
• 8:00‑9:30 AM
• 2:30‑4:00 PM
Monday‑Friday in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

- Supervise school crossing points within Randwick Local Government Area.
- Maintain road safety for children, parents, teachers and motorists.
- Establish positive community relationships and communicate effectively.
- Stay alert to potential dangers and report incidents.
- Attend scheduled shifts as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Minimum age 18 years.
- Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check,



reference/Police checks and a Health Assessment.
- Reliable and punctual; able to work required shifts.
- Positive communication and teamwork skills.
- Training, uniforms and equipment will be provided.

Additional Information

Applicants may be considered for a permanent part‑time role should a vacancy arise. Position is in‑person, on‑site. Support for people with disability is available.
