Assistant Café Manager - Noisette Café Bentleigh

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Café Manager to join the vibrant team at Noisette Café in Bentleigh. Noisette is a renowned French-inspired bakery and café, famous for its artisan breads, pastries, and specialty coffee. Our Bentleigh location is a busy, welcoming space where locals come to enjoy high-quality food and exceptional service.

**About the Role**

As the Assistant Café Manager, you will work alongside the Café Manager to lead daily operations, deliver an outstanding customer experience, and ensure the smooth running of our Bentleigh store.

**Store Hours**:
Monday to Sunday - shifts between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm (Adaptable roster across 7 days generally with one weekend day off per week, no night shifts.)

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee day-to-day café operations at Noisette Café Bentleigh
- Manage, train, and direct a dynamic team to deliver excellent customer service
- Control labour costs and associated expenses
- Manage cost of food and beverage operations




- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee to our standards
- Handle staff rostering, inventory management, and stock control

**Skills & Experience Required**
- Proven café management or similar hospitality management experience (minimum 2 years)
- Strong barista skills and passion for coffee
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities
- Experience with labour cost control and food cost management
- Current Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and early morning shifts
- Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Engaging personality and customer-focused attitude

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
