An experienced Allied Health Assistant is sought to join the ITACS team, based at Port Kembla Hospital. The preferred applicant will have the opportunity to develop skills and experience across the breadth of Allied Health disciplines working within ITACS. You will join a large team of health professionals who work in the community delivering therapy to elderly clients in their home as part of their Transitional Aged Care Program (TACP).
The preferred applicant will ideally have or be working towards a Certificate IV qualification in Allied Health Assistance and experience working in a person-centered, interdisciplinary model of care. You have access to professional development opportunities, regular clinical supervision and involvement in quality improvement initiatives. **A little about us.**
As a part of the new Shellharbour Hospital and Integrated Services Project, a new Community Health Centre is being built on the old Port Kembla Hospital site. Located on Dharawal Country, Warrawong Community Health Centre will bring together a range of services including community mental health, drug and alcohol, community nursing, and child and family services.
Until the new Community Centre is complete, some allied health services will continue to operate out of the Port Kembla Hospital site.

- Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance, or equivalent work experience and a willingness to work towards certification.
