Exceeding all areas of the National Quality Standard, Springvale Service for Children is a leading Not-For-Profit community-based organisation providing support for families through an integrated service model. The service was established in 2009 and has grown to provide a large and broad range of services to support families with young children. Having strong links with the local community, we pride ourselves in our ‘no wrong door’ policy that welcomes everyone into the service. Our range of services for young children and their families for their healthy development, learning and well-being includes: - Long Day and Sessional Early Learning Programs - Maternal and Child Health - Play Groups - Toy Library - Visiting Specialists - Community programs

**Description**- LEADERSHIP - What is the toughest group that you have ever had to lead? What were the obstacles? How did you handle the situation?




- TEAMWORK - Describe a situation where others you were working with on a project disagreed with your ideas. What did you do?
- CURRICULUM - What strategies have you used to contribute to children’s learning and development? How have you progressed a child’s idea?
- INITIATIVE - Describe a situation in which you recognised a potential problem as an opportunity. What did you do? What was the result? What, if anything, do you wish you had done differently?
- CHILD SAFE STANDARDS - Provide information of your understanding and difference between Child Safe Standards and Child Protection.

**Qualifications**
- Diploma in Children’s Services with minimum two (2) years of experience
- Current Level 2 First aid Certificate (including Anaphylaxis and Asthma Training).
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of working in early childhood services.
- Knowledge of the EYLF, NQF, National Quality Standard, DET Regulations and Law.
- Understanding and knowledge of Child Protected Standards and Child Protection
- Genuine** enthusiasm, initiative** and professionalism.
- Ability to plan, document and assess children’s learning and development
- Have a current Working with Children and Police Check (under 6 months)
- An ability to work a **variety of shifts **between the hours of 7:00am - 6:00pm Monday - Friday_._
