Certex Lifting supplies lifting equipment, steel wire rope, height safety, and other lifting

solutions, alongside connected services including testing, maintenance, assembly, and

installation of lifting products for industrial applications in a wide range of industries.

We are looking for our newest team member, if you are keen to get your hands dirty,

We are looking for someone who is motivated, reliable, and keen to learn. This role

starts in our Wangara workshop as a Level 1 Service Technician, with ongoing training

and upskilling provided to develop you into a fully qualified Level 3 Service Technician

working on customer sites.

You bring the right attitude, well provide the rest.

The Role

Working as part of the Service and Production team in our Wangara workshop and on

client sites, your role will include the inspection, manufacture, repair and testing of

rigging equipment.

The work is typically Monday to Friday, but overtime and weekend work may also be

available, and is paid at penalty rates.

A snapshot of the role includes:

- Assembly, inspection, testing, service, installation of hoisting and rigging systems

and height safety equipment.

- General warehouse duties, including maintaining a clean workshop.

- Maintaining records in testing and ERP software.

What we are looking for

As training will be provided, enthusiastic applicants with excellent work ethic and

relevant skills, who are looking for a new career are encouraged to apply. We are

looking for the following skills and experience:

- Experience working in an industrial setting, (such as construction,



manufacturing,

mining) ideally with exposure to rigging, lifting, or height safety.

- You are able to work in a physical environment, including regularly lifting (safe) loads

in accordance with WHS procedures, standing for long periods, and working with

impact tools.

- You have a current, unrestricted driver’s license.

- You are willing to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol

screening, and additional assessment and testing if required by clients.

- You have, or can obtain a National Police Clearance that won’t prevent you from

accessing client sites (e.g. mining, construction, marine transport industries).

- You are willing to travel to client sites, including remote sites when required.

- You have the legal right to work in Australia on a full time, permanent basis.

- Experience with manufacturing, inspection, and testing of rigging systems, would be

advantageous.

Ideally you will also have

- A current first aid certificate.

- High-Risk Work Licences, including Forklift, Dogman, Basic Rigging, Elevated Work

Platform.

- A Working Safely at Heights qualification.

training and development.

- You are adept at learning new information, grasping new concepts quickly, and

applying learned knowledge effectively.
