**Scrap Metal Yard Labourer**

**Full Job Description**:
Metal Recycling Warehouse looking for a motivated **Labourer.**

The role requires a scrap metal yard labourer to join our team in Wangara

T.M.R. (Total Metal Recyclers Pty Ltd) has warehouses in Rockingham, Osborne Park, and Wangara. This role will be based in Wangara

You will be in responsible for processing scrap metal materials and for other labouring tasks as assigned by the Yard Supervisor.

**Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- The processing, value adding of scrap metal as presented by our clients.
- Common sense approach to processing, mindful of safety issues to oneself, other staff, customers, and the company.
- Ensure all tasks are completed in an efficient, timely, and accurate manner.
- Present with a well-dressed, friendly ‘can-do’ attitude every day.
- Keeping processing areas clean and tidy.
- A minimum of at least two (2)



years actual labouring experience demonstrating the use of mechanical and electrical hand tools and stationary processing equipment.
- Current forklift licence
- Sound Mechanical aptitude.
- Be motivated with a ‘proactive’ attitude.
- Someone who is detailed orientated.
- Has good problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity of working in a team and on their own.
- **Citizenship, or visa capacity to work - five days a week**
- Knowledge of metals would be a plus but not necessary.

**ASAP start and expectation of 38h+ per week.**
