**Where you'll be working**
You’ll be part of a dedicated and supportive multidisciplinary team within Charlestown Community Services Centre. Located in the heart of Charlestown, the service is close to major shopping facilities, cafes, and some of the region’s best beaches, offering an excellent lifestyle balance alongside a rewarding career.

**What you'll be doing**
As an Allied Health Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality care across Charlestown Community Services Centre and its community-based programs. Each day will bring variety and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. You’ll manage your time effectively, balancing multiple tasks with confidence and professionalism.
Working alongside Allied Health Professionals, you’ll assist with client care — preparing for treatments, helping with evaluations, and providing information about available services. You’ll also help plan and deliver recreational and therapeutic activities that promote mental stimulation, social connection, and wellbeing.
In addition, you’ll provide valuable administrative support, maintain records and resources,



and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills. Through effective communication and teamwork, you’ll play an essential role in supporting care planning and ensuring the best outcomes for clients.

You communicate clearly and confidently, both in writing and in person, and you’re comfortable using technology as part of your daily work. You thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment but can also work independently when required.

**Additional Information**
- An eligibility list will be created for future temporary full or part time vacancies.
- To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current Current Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia.
