Baja Cantina is a modern Mexican restaurant group that has been operating in Glebe for over 20 years. We currently have 3 locations across Sydney, including Glebe, Central, and Bourke Street.
Our venues focus on quality food, warm hospitality, and creating a vibrant dining experience for our guests. We combine elevated flavours with approachable service in a premium casual environment.
We are currently looking for passionate and motivated Food & Beverage Attendants to join our growing team on a part time or full time basis.
About the Role
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, works well within a strong team culture, and takes pride in delivering genuine customer service.
Pay rate:
- In accordance with Restaurant Industry Award Level 3 / Level 4
- Penalty rates, superannuation, and entitlements apply accordingly
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a restaurant environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Punctual and reliable at work
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good understanding of customer service and guest experience
- Confidence in upselling food, beverages, wine, and specials
- RSA required
Key responsibilities:
- Providing professional and friendly table service
- Running a section independently
- Maintaining solid product and menu knowledge
- Upselling beverages and menu items confidently
- Working closely with both FOH and BOH teams
- Maintaining cleanliness and service standards
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures
Please note that team members may occasionally be required to work across our other Baja Cantina locations depending on operational requirements.
