This is your opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a variety of shutdowns while building your skills with a leading service provider!

About the Role

You'll be working across a range of shutdowns & project-based work throughout Bluescope Steel, contributing to maintenance and improvements within a large-scale industrial environment. Every project brings recent challenges, recent teams, and valuable experience.

Pay: $47.18 per hour Super Overtime
Project shifts up to 12 hour days - 6 day per week

What You'll Bring
Cert III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade
Confined Space Ticket (preferred)
Working at Heights Ticket (preferred)




High Risk Work Licence (preferred)
Experience working on industrial plant and machinery
Strong commitment to protected work practices

This is a great entry into Ventia - one of Australia's largest essential infrastructure providers in Australia and New Zealand. For more than 20 years, Ventia has had a longstanding relationship with BlueScope in the Illawarra region of NSW, providing plant maintenance, engineering and project services and a skilled workforce for numerous BlueScope projects, as well as fabrication facilities. We have recently renewed our contract with BlueScope for maintenance services with the addition of fire services at BlueScope's Port Kembla Steel Works.
